Are cigars safer than cigarettes?

I smoke cigars and I smoke them because I think they are safer than cigarettes. I smoke them because I enjoy to smoke, and I like the taste. I think they are safer because they don't have loads of nicotine and tar, and most people don't inhale cigars.
