Audition songs (musical preferably)?

I want a good musical song for an audition, but i've heard i should stay away from Wicked (i love the musical, but i've heard 'Popular' has been done to DEATH) i wanted to do something from RENT, but i'm not sure if that'd be a good idea or not. I'd really like to do something to impress them, instead of just an overdone show tune, so, advice please? :]
